October 2022 Meeting: Dr. Eugenia Brumm, CRM, FAI is Presenting “Conducting RIM/IG Audits”

Description: Conducting RIM/IG audits leads to continuous process improvement. This presentation will begin by discussing audits, in general, their purpose and terminology. It will then describe three types of RIM/IG audits – program audits, location-oriented audits and function-based audits. How to plan, prepare for and conduct the audit will be followed by sample specifications and RIM/IG audit questions that can be posed.
Presenter Bio: Eugenia, a recipient of the prestigious Emmett Leahy Award for her visionary and pioneering work in marrying quality systems with records and information management, has more than 30 years of experience as a practitioner, academic and consultant, and is recognized as a leader and innovator, who develops creative, leading–edge Information Governance and Records and Information Management solutions. Eugenia is known for the depth and breadth of her IG and RIM knowledge and expertise, her ability to quickly diagnose and solve IG and RIM issues and problems and to ensure that the solutions are grounded in practicality.
