August 2026 Meeting: Retooling the Information Professional for 2027 and Beyond featuring Randolph Kahn, ESQ.
Session description: The Information world is exploding and some of the explosive business change may be passing you by. This fast-paced session will explore practical ways to reinvigorate your careers, provide guidance for aligning IG initiatives with broader business initiatives, and strategies for implementing AI with IG.

Mr. Kahn and his consulting team have been recognized across the globe as leaders in Information Governance. Mr. Kahn is a highly sought-after speaker, and a two time recipient of the Britt Literary Award. He has written numerous published works, including; “The Executive’s Guide to Navigating the Information Universe,” “Chucking Daisies,” “Email Rules,” “Information Nation: Seven Keys to Information Management Compliance,” “Information Nation Warrior” and “Privacy Nation.” Mr. Kahn teaches Law and Policy of Electronic Information at Washington University, School of Law and The Politics of Information at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mr. Kahn has been an expert witness in major court cases, and is a trusted advisor and consultant to corporations and governmental agencies.
Mr. Kahn runs a consultancy that has helped numerous companies better manage their information assets in conformity with laws and business needs. The Kahn Consulting team has provided consulting services to major global organizations including, advising the US and Foreign governments, courts systems, and major multi-national corporations on a wide variety of Information Management issues, including Information Governance, AI. Electronic contracting, information security, privacy, Cloud storage strategies, Data Governance, e-communications policies and strategies, social media policy, records and information management programs implementation and litigation response processes.
