The Boise Valley Chapter of ARMA International was formed in 1973 to offer a forum for professional education, community awareness of the importance of records management, and to foster a sense of professionalism among its members. The chapter currently has more than 30 members that work within the records and information management professions.

November 2023 Meeting: “BVC ARMA Chapter Meeting – 3 Things To Know About Info MGMT in AI” Panel with Jason Cassidy, Dave McDermott, & Moderated by Misty Perry
Description: Join us for an exclusive live (and virtual) panel discussion hosted by the Boise Valley ARMA Chapter, diving into the rapidly advancing and critically important role that our records management profession plays in the age of AI. On stage, Boise Valley’s Misty Perry will be welcoming Shinydocs CEO Jason Cassidy and industry veteran David McDermott for an exciting and timely conversation on how we should approach AI in our roles.
The best part? We want you, our chapter members, to participate in this unscripted conversation by contributing questions and topics for live discussion onstage in one of the three following themes:

June 2023 Meeting: Elections
Description: We would like to invite you to our final chapter meeting of the year. There is no presenter for this meeting and it will be in person. We will hold the elections for the 2023-2024 ARMA year and recognize award winners from the 2022-2023 ARMA year at the Willowcreek Grill in Boise on Tuesday, June 27th. The festivities will start at 5:15PM. We encourage those who would like to be involved with the local board to reach out.
